Few projects have felt as personal to me as Accidents in North American Climbing. After my own accident was featured in the journal in 2019, I never imagined that I would one day help shape the publication itself. What began as contributing to the layout and production of the book eventually grew into leading its creative direction as Art Director. That journey has given me a unique perspective on the publication—not only as a designer, but as someone whose story lives within its pages. Today, my role is to help transform decades of climbing knowledge into a thoughtful, approachable editorial experience that serves the climbing community.
